Phase 1
Managing an administrative task is no different from managing a construction project or a research and development program. Every project requires planning, executing, and most of all closing a required plan within a specified period and budget.
Throughout our research, we have developed a framework to effectively organize and manage a project by creating and exploiting synergies.
Phase one commences with an open discussion with the client’s management. We listen carefully to their strategy, their long-term plans and acquire key information. Our aim is to ensure that the client's business team covers the main aspects and reasons associated with the new or expanding business.
We consider this phase as one of the most delicate. In fact, particularly in new entry cases, the client has often developed a plan without taking into consideration the peculiarities of the Chinese environment. We provide clients the basic knowledge to integrate their plan with the local requirements, identify issues and alternatives. We work very closely with our clients to make their project happen. At this stage, this may sometimes mean fundamentally changing the plan if necessary.
• what type of project we are facing (establishment/restructuring);
• which sector is involved (manufacturing, trading, distribution);
• where is the location/s;
• what is the investment expected size in three years (in case of restructuring, expected
increase/decrease);
• what is the expected time to market;
• how many resources are devoted to the project.
